Messages about urgent safety issues or security events which concern any part of The Windings are sporadically posted to this list. Messages you send to it may be posted after moderator review - call any WHOA board member to expedite approval. They'll be sent From: Alerts@TheWindings.org, not from you. Those with text-messaging mobile phones might want to read how to get your cell phone's email address. To initially subscribe a cell phone, do not use the registration form below (the confirmation protocol does not fit into the SMS text-messaging limits). Instead send the phone number and the name of your phone service provider in an email to the list owner as given on the bottom of this page. Using Alerts
To post a message to all the list members, send email to alerts@TheWindings.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Alerts
Subscribe to Alerts by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in clear text. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you; it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. To unsubscribe from Alerts, get a password reminder, or change your subscription options enter your subscription email address: If you leave the field blank, you will be prompted for your email address
